Farhan is a development practitioner in the social impact space with a full time role in the consulting firm, Sattva, since July 2019. At a professional level, he has worked on strategy, research and implementation of nonprofit organisations in education, healthcare, agriculture, gender and welfare of migrant gig workers within India. He has studied statistics in undergraduate education and later pursued a diploma in liberal arts through the Young India Fellowship of Ashoka University. He has been an avid student of varied disciplines, including mathematics, sciences, literature, arts and social studies.

Having a diverse set of interest areas in storytelling, Farhan has been involved in theatre, poetry and creative fiction writing throughout his university education. He continues to study fiction as a medium to express the state of human condition and critique a wide range of phenomenon, including poverty, exclusion, education, modernity, ecological change and migration issues, among others. In addition, he designs and conducts storytelling workshops for children in primary and secondary grades, so far in collaboration with nonprofit organisations like Delek Foundation and Teach For India.
