Former art buyer and broadcast producer; and now homeschool teacher to our two children. Our family has a dog, a cat, a fish, and two gerbils...and, also, currently a worm farm and butterfly growing center for science. I fell in love with travel when I had the opportunity to travel to the Soviet Union in 1989 as a student ambassador through People to People. We were able to travel through Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Belarus for just shy of a month. It was an amazing opportunity and I have been blessed to do a considerable amount of travel since then. I hope to instill an informed and compassionate world-view in our children and I believe that reading is an essential part of that endeavor.
