Over mijn bibliotheek
My library is basically a collection of books, essays, maps, guides and surveys about the Hebrides. I do own much more than just books about the Hebrides, but I love to read stuff connected to my trips, and at the moment, I'm dealing with a journey (not the first one, indeed) about these fantastic islands I love so much.

If you have advices about new novels, new editors, new authors, please let me know! I'd love it!

Cheers! xxx
Over mij
Halo a h-uile duine!
I'm a 30 years old girl in love with the Hebrides, as you can guess from my profile. I'm fond of their culture, their history, their language, poetry, music, life-style, sheeps and beaches.

I have been to Scotland many times, touring it upside down. And I always tried to relate my trips to my books, in a way that I usually tour, seeing the sites where novels took place, or where songs were born, inspired by a story or a view over the oncean or a desolated field.

So... that's why my books are almost all about journeys or deal with places and subjects which will take me somewhere!
Or they're about the Gaelic language, which is somehow, a trip by itself!
