Over mijn bibliotheek
My main concentration is history especially Russian and USSR history. I also read works about communism and socialism. I have not read Marx's Communist Manifesto yet, but I do have a copy.
I have a number of books on WWII.
Since I have a BA in Spanish I do a lot of work on Spanish and Latin American history.
I don't have an affinity for American history except when it concerns the Cold War.
I have works on French history especially the Revolution of 1789.
I have studied British history at certain periods, mainly the Tudors. I'm fascinated with Mary I of England and Mary, Queen of Scots.
I do have a collection of Italian and Vatican history.
Lately, I have also been expanding in Asian history. Currently I am reading a book on the last Dowager Empress of China and a biography of Emperor Hirohito of Japan.
Over mij
I graduated in May 2009 from the University of South Florida with my Master's in Library and Information Science. I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and I am currently doing an externship to be a pharmacy technician. I do hope to get back in the library field soon though. There are not many jobs out there. I'm originally from a small rural town in Alabama. I plan to return to university and complete my Master's in History. I have a BA in Spanish and a BA in Social Science also.
