Over mijn bibliotheek

I just relocated from one library to another! After serving 18 years as director of our area's public library, I retired in July 2022 and now spend happy days in our attic library. We have over 250 feet of shelves with space still to fill, and to date I have cataloged over 1,100 of our books here on LibraryThing.

Note: Yes, our chimney is slanted! As in many homes from the early 1900s, the top part was built this way on purpose. One possibility we've heard is that this was to help keep out rain. At any rate, we love it!
