Over mijn bibliotheek: I read a lot of different writers but mostly I enjoy mysteries, suspense and thrillers and some science fiction/fantasy stories. My favorite authors in my library include Dorothy Gilman (I created a fansite for her during the late 90's that is still going today www.mrspollifax.com), Nora Roberts and her alternate ego J.D. Robb, Faye Kellerman, Anne McCaffrey, Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich, J.A. Jance, Sara Paretsky, Patricia Cornwell and Laurell K. Hamilton to name a few.
Over mij: My name is Jolene MacFadden. I have written and published a book about volunteer workamping in Florida. My mom and I have been full-time RVing for about 2 years now and we have been volunteering about 18 months. Since, there is not a lot of room in an RV for our book collection we both bought a Kindle eReader device for our travels. Both of us are avid readers and enjoy mysteries and suspense novels.

The need for good, quality volunteers in our Florida public lands is great and to aid my fellow RVers in planning for future assignments I have created a resource listing every single Florida State Park, State Forest, National Park and Forest and a few other public land management departments that makes provisions to live on-site volunteers. We have included information on what they offer volunteers as well as what they need from them. But basically you get a FREE campsite and some other amenities for working about 20 hours per week helping at the park staff.

I would be happy to talk to anyone interested in knowing more about this subject. We have not done any volunteer work in any other state but would also loved to hear from others who have.

Since most RVers have to entertain themselves during their travels most of us enjoy reading.
