I own an eclectic mix of books: mostly children's picturebooks and YA novels, but also much nonfiction, historic fiction, poetry and travel books.

I am a writer with 28 books for children and educators and speak at literacy conferences and in schools around the world, including international schools. I write book reviews for The International Educator, a column on writing for Reading Today (IRA) and articles for Canadian Teacher magazine.
