I've been working on collecting titles by my favorite authors. And since Dame Agatha drew me into the world of mysteries many years ago, that is what most of my library holds. Mysteries. I recently developed a love of cozy mysteries as well. A few other genres slide in, like romance, and my favorite psychological suspense. I also stumbled on a few graphic novels that have wiggled their way over from my To Read list to my owned list. There is variety, but not too much outside of my comfort zone.

I LOVE books. Whether it's a murder filled whodunit or a book about the universe. Reading really is fundamental and, for me, a versatile form of entertainment. I can read for enjoyment, inspiration, or to learn. I'm fortunate that I work in a public library. Being around books all day only serves to fuel my addiction and it's a lot cheaper than when I worked in a book store! I love finding books that keep me guessing or that I simply can't put down until I know how it ends! That's the same entertainment that I crave with movies as well. My guilty pleasures: British TV and Hallmark Mysteries! These two things probably fueled the surge of cozy mysteries in my library.

When not reading or thinking about reading, I'm spending time with my family, my furbabies, doing another row on a crochet project I still haven't finished, or lazily binge streaming.
