Over mijn bibliotheek
Lotsa books! LibraryThing will keep me busy for a very, very long time. I have a nice little collection of Ed Abbey, Jim Harrison, Barry Moser illustrated books, natural history, bird art, Tasha Tudor, hunting and fishing, shooting, bookbinding, dogs (fiction as well as nonfiction), wood engraving, fine art, fiber arts, and illustrated children's books. There are books in the living room, down the hall, two bedrooms and an office. Plus, I'm afraid there are even some in the garage (which is not necessarily a good place). I realize it's heresy, but I was an early adopter of the Kindle. I enjoy reading for entertainment (mysteries, etc.) but don't necessarily want to add to the population of real books I must deal with. The upside to the Kindle: there's more room for books I love and will enjoy down the road.

I still have many of the books I had as a child including my precious Charlotte's Web. LibraryThing has allowed me to reassess what I have and has helped in the thinning-out/refining process.
Over mij
I'm an accumulator, a lifelong reader, and a former bookseller, now retired from 'honest' work at an art museum. I moved west in 2017 from Kansas City to Liberty Lake, WA, and am still (and likely always be) sorting through the collection. Retirees need hobbies, right?
