You could say it's a random collection of books I've picked up over the years. Half of the books that I really want to read, I don't own, therefore my Library would look a bit different if they were included.

I pretty much love escapism; anything to draw me out of this world and plant me into another, more exciting one, especially when this one is at odds with everything at the moment.

Hopefully now I have aquired a job, I can fill my bookshelves with a wealth of literature that I hadn't been able to afford recently, so keep your eyes peeled. ^_^

Over mij

I'm a 20 something female living in beautiful Devon. I've moved around a lot but this seems to be the right place for me.

Qualification wise, I graduated from high school and that's about it. I'd rather experience the world through actions, although I'm not adverse to sitting in a dusty library for hours on end, thus most of my learning is self taught.

I have a strange obsession for anything relating to the ancient eastern world and currently I'm obsessed with the history of the famous Topkapi Palace harem.
