My library consists of books from different genres and views that at times open my mind to things that are either out of my comfort zone or seem to be not my interests. Some of my books are: Les Brown's Live Your Dreams, Chinua Achebe's There Was A Country Memoir, Wole Soyinka's The Open Sore Of A Continent, George, and Darril Fosty's Black Ice, Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist, Tony Barr's Acting For The Camera, The Association for Japanese-Language Teaching's (AJALT) Japanese For Busy People (Not at all fluent in Japanese yet but working on it), Eric Collins's History Of Japan, Larry Elder's Double Standards, Larry Elder's Stupid Black Men , Booker T. Washington's Up from Slavery, and Malcolm Gladwell's Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking to name a few.

I am a Canadian, born and raised in Ottawa by a Haitian mother and Nigerian father who has had the pleasure of meeting and having great people in my life both past and present. I have had an interest/passion to write especially poetry that has been for the most of my life a secret even to close family and friends of mine. After many years of contemplation, distractions, and doubts due to some setbacks, I have decided to self-publish two books in 2022 with the help of an editor, cover designer and a team of interior designers. The first book is called Mumbles of A Soul and the second is called Whispers of A Soul. Both have personal, reflective pieces of writing that have influence from people and places such as Ottawa, Toronto, New York City, Ekiti (Nigeria), Haiti, Fukuoka (Japan), and many other influences that were both conscious and unconscious. As well, I have been fortunate to have been part of acting projects with an agent in the form of commercial and actor role(s) projects while living in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). I will continue to write and have plans of writing a third collection of poetry, prose, and thoughts as well as a suspense-thriller book in the upcoming years.
