Over mijn bibliotheek
My favorite genre to read is historical fiction but my library is somewhat eclectic. I am an author and have written two juvenile fiction books, and one commercial fiction book for adults.
Over mij
I am the author of the middle grade books, BILLY'S FIRST DANCE and FUNNY PAGES. BILLY'S FIRST DANCE focuses on coming of age, special needs (Spina Bifida) and family bonds. In FUNNY PAGES, Sally's grandfather is a retired cartoonist. He creates a comic just for her. The book blends the antics of Sally's family with the evolving storyline of the comic. Availability on the web: Amazon, Indiebound, BuyBooksontheWeb, Barnesandnoble and more. They have also been in such bookstores as Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville, IL, Collected Works Bookstore in Santa Fe, NM and Women & Children First Bookstore in Chicago. BILLY'S FIRST DANCE and FUNNY PAGES can also be ordered from any bookstore. FUNNY PAGES is also available in Kindle and Nook editions via amazon and barnesandnoble. Short stories and essays can be found at www.asouthernjournal.com, http://todaysdeepsouth.blogspot.com/2011/08/remembering-carlotta.html and http://todaysdeepsouth.blogspot.com/2011/11/of-kudzu-and-claudia-rose.html

My third book, DANIEL'S ESPERANZA, is set in the southwest and is written for the adult reader. Publication coming soon.
