My online library doesn't come close to the books I have and is really not representative of "me". I suppose I lack the effort to find them all and post them. I do add and/or rate books as I come across them on the site but I'm not over here as often as I'd like. I'm going to try and visit this site more often. I just don't want to keep buying books and then moving on to buy new and exiting ones without reading the last batch. No doubt I'm benefiting from my paid Prime member account with Amazon!

I am a divorce and family law attorney and a liberal, progressive Democrat. I call myself web and book reading/buying addicted. Often, I find and watch movies and tv shows from around the world (must have English subtitles if foreign) on the same topics I prefer reading. I own many books. I prefer actual books as opposed to Kindle reading. However, I'm seriously considering buying the Kindle. A bedroom is devoted to books all shelved 3 deep and doubled from floor to ceiling. I also like to read more than one book at a time and I don't read as much as I did because I'm watching more films and on the internet, I'm beginning to think a Kindle may make sense. I mostly read suspense, thrillers, police procedural/crime, even sci-fi/fantasy books, excluding plain vanilla Christie-type mysteries. Actually, I'm reading more dystopian and apocalyptic novels lately (and no way do I believe the end is near.) Many good books of that type are "young adult" e.g. Hunger Games. One of my favorite TV shows has become The Walking Dead and I am surely going to miss Fringe.
Lastly, I welcome any reading recommendations, please.
