You may notice a theme. I love Anne of Green Gables, anything that has to do with her, and Lucy Maud Montgomery. I'm drawn to the magical, the mythical, undercurrents of the dark and/or morbid, the ultra-descriptive minutiae of a world gone by, poetry and prosey things, prettiful words, and imagination in all things.

I'm a dreamer, and books are my life. Have been known to read in the dark by the glow of a streetlight, or from a flashlight at a slumber party amidst so many chattering girls. They are my true friends. (books, not girls, obviously) I take them with me in my purse, lovingly dog-ear all of them, and read my favorites over...and over...Have finished many in a single sitting, realizing that I need to turn on a lamp when my eyes start to hurt. I sleep with them under my pillow. Some of them have coffe stains on them, which only endears them more to me. Oh, I love coffee as well. And my husband and kids. They're okay too.
