I love to read mystery/crime type novels, especially ones with recurring characters. I also enjoy true historical accounts of homesteaders, past disasters etc. I don't really like fantasy or horror novels, or ones that require deep thinking. Nevada Barr, Patricia Cornwell, Dick Francis, Iris Johanson, Jonathan and Faye Kellerman, James Patterson, Kathy Reich, John Sanford, and Stuart Woods are my favorite authors.
