Over mijn bibliotheek
I'm a professional student. I have degrees in nursing, art, and spanish. Right now I am in grad school working on my Masters in Library Science.

I am most interested in immigrant fiction, but I'll read anything! I love stories that take me away from my everyday and expose me to new ideas and experiences.

I've been travelling for the past 7 years, living out of one suitcase. On a recent move I liquidated the bulk of my physical library, over 300 books. While emotionally a total drag, I was happy that my books (they went to a downtown Salvation Army in Toronto) might find their way to a loving home where they will be appreciated anew. I did manage to save a few hundred beloved titles. They now sit forlornly in boxes in my parent's home.

I'm experimenting with e-books & audiobooks right now. I find them less "curl up-y" but easier to lug around the world.

Books listed in my library may be books I have owned and loved in the past, books I currently own, or books I would own if I could have a physical library.
Over mij
I'm an American expat currently living in China, where I sometimes experience book withdrawal.
