Over mijn bibliotheek
I get almost as much pleasure from sourcing books as I do from reading them. Yes, I do buy books from Amazon and Waterstones, but that for me is just functional book buying - I need a book, I need it quickly. But sourcing them is so much more fun - I love popping into charity shops as I wander past to see what they have, or visiting second hand bookshops wherever I'm on holiday, or rummaging through the For Sale shelf at my local library, or opening book-shaped presents from friends. And I love the thrill of ordering something odd from my local independent bookseller (I love you, The Owl and The Pussycat!) and being able to get my hands on it the next day. I clearly need to investigate all these cyberbookswapthingamijigs...
