My favorite types of books are fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, and humor -- and especially novels that combine elements of some or all of these!

Lance Brandson is a pseudonym for . . . let’s say, Mr. X -- a mysterious, shadowy figure who lurks on the fringes of the literary underworld. Lance is a true renaissance geek, who likes sci-fi, fantasy, computer games, boardgames, and, of course, Dungeons and Dragons; as well as a few more mundane hobbies, such as scuba diving, skiing, ballroom dance, karate, playing guitar and painting (mostly works featuring fantasy themes, in the “primitive” style of art, represented by such figures as Grandma Moses). Lance grew up watching Star Trek, reading Tolkien (at least a dozen times), and playing D & D every Saturday night. He has always loved books that integrate fantasy and humor, and has written a Kindle novel entitled: "The Holman Files: Not a Bit of Blarney," which features a reluctant detective, a leprechaun, some (mostly) techno-savvy gnomes, and of course a dragon.
