I use Library Thing to keep track of books I've read, but don't necessarily own. I tend to read books for all age levels, but not to include picture books here. I read YA literature because I love it, not for my job. I enjoy mysteries and literary fiction. I do get into occasional non-fiction phases, but I mostly read fiction.

I am a children's librarian in central Illinois. I've got a husband and a dog. I enjoy knitting. My husband and I would one day like to own a small farm.

Currently, in an effort to increase my nerd quotient to previously unknown heights, I am working through two reading projects. I would like to read a biography of each of the US presidents, and I would like to read all of the National Book Award winners.
