- I like books. My library probably depicts stages of interests and growth. I would say half my books were obtained with the intent to read them but remain partially read or unread.

- I am an educator who loves learning and teaching. I received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Central Oklahoma State University. In 1999, I earned a Master’s degree in Education from Regis University with a special education endorsement. I was immediately placed in a teaching position with Denver Public Schools. I completed the Denver Public School Leadership Academy in 2003 and ultimately earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at University of Denver in August 2007. Yeh!! Now its time to do those things I placed on hold for so many years. I am interested in quilting and reading for FUN.
My interest in quilting specifically began in 1985 while a student in Oklahoma. I joined the Denver African American Quilters and Collectors Guild in 1996 and the Rocky Mountain Wa Shonaji Quilt Guild in 2009. I am the current president of AAQ&CQ (www.aaquiltersguild.org), a 20 year old organization. I enjoy all aspects of the quilting arts which has left little time for reading (at the moment). I have a great relationship with a great man. Together. we have nine adult children (no grands). I reside in Denver, CO. - Momenteel aan het lezen
