love (1), brings together the unexpected "friends" (1), my favorite play of hers that i've read so far (1), good ol' marian keyes and some british sass chick lit (1), and a play is always a quick read (1), but felt a bit pervy after reading it. ["Big River" (1), but i do enjoy most things published by Red Dress Ink. super chick-lit for some escapism (1), i read a review of her. i like someone who sparks discussion and controversy (1), one author- 2 narratives of a set of conjoined twins. points for creativity and 2 perspectives (1), read it before seeing the show. very political and dark (the musical ends happier). (1), it's representing all of the others. i love them all with #3 and this one as my favorites. (1), another great favorite. i'm slowly getting back to classics (either that or i'm fascinated by characters named Daisy [nod to Henry James]) (1), tons of allusions to 'A Midsummer...' - my fav. Shakespeare (1), but that's fiction. i use it as my intro for others into the chick-lit genre. (1), a confession: i laughed out loud many times. it's a bit far-fetched (1), also representing "Macbeth" and "The Merchant of Venice" - all some of my favorite tragedies. oh - "Romeo and Juliet" too (1), what does it say about me if i relate to Daisy? i'll hope i've grown more since i read it. (1), "Everything you own should do its job with some semblance of grace and dignity. Underware isn't just underwear. It's the true garment of your sexual self. And nasty knickers completely sabotage your sexual self esteem." (1), right when you think everything is being wrapped up nicely...it isn't.
