Iris Johansen - see "About me" rant - Over mij
- I have a serious issue with Iris Johansen being allowed to write novels and an even more serious issue with those who buy them!!! She cannot write her way out of a paper bag and her dialogue exemplifies the most egregious overuse of non-realistic conversational first name mentions that I have ever read. I mean, come ON - honestly, does each character in a two character scene need to keep saying the other person's name over and over again? Where is the confusion?? Ooops, my mistake, were you talking to me, the only other person in the room, or perhaps this used table napkin?
