My personal library is transforming. I'm going through my childhood collection and adding what I want to keep, and giving the rest to young cousins or the local library. These are all books I own, though not ALL the books I own. I can't afford to upgrade to a permanent or paid account at the moment, so I sometimes have to take off books to make room for others.

Some of these books are signed. Nearly all of my signed books are from actually meeting the authors. The exception to this is Laurel O'Donnell, who is a distant cousin of mine. I've met her several times, but not when she signed the books.

Also, I have both the British and the American versions of all the Harry Potter books.

And I have two signed copies of At the White Window by David Young.

I just graduated from a university with a BA in Creative Writing, and I amassed quite a collection of books in that time. I have minors in political science and peace studies, so there are a lot of books on that as well.

I'd like to go on to get an MFA in Creative Writing, or maybe an MA in American Studies, but right now I'm not sure. I applied for several MFA programs, only to be rejected by six and have my application lost by one.

Right now, I'm reading, writing, and looking for a job to sustain me until I actually get into grad school.
