My library has books that are mine and books that belong to my five-year-old son. You can probably guess whose are whose. :-) Favorite genres include historical fiction, general fiction, sci-fi, and on very rare occasion, mystery/thriller and nonfiction. I do have a few books about quilting as it's my favorite pastime. Favorite authors include Tom Robbins, Jane Austen, David Liss, Dan Brown, and Philippa Gregory. Books that I absolutely love are kept in case my son wants to read them someday; others get traded through Bookmooch.com (I'm seamripper over there).

I'm a writer and editor living in Costa Rica with my husband, son, and our menagerie of rescued animals (five cats and nine dogs at last count). I don't think there's ever been a time in my life when I haven't read for pleasure; it is more than relaxing, it is as necessary as food and water! :-)
