Over mijn bibliotheek
I have over 800 SF paperbacks and 700 hardcovers, mostly from the 1950s through 70s. The first SF books I actually bought (and still have) are from 1958-59 when I was 10 years old: Heinlein's "The Green Hills of Earth," Wollheim's "The Hidden Planet," Leinster's "The Forgotten Planet," Wells' "The Time Machine," and Blake Savage's (Hal Goodwin's) "Assignment in Space." If it looks like all my ratings are high, it's just because I am (slowly) cataloging my favorite books first. The crummies will come later.
Over mij
I read mostly Science Fiction, especially hard SF, and have been a hard-core SF reader since the mid 50s (which pretty much puts me in my early sixties). Weekly trips to my local public library introduced me to Heinlein, Norton, Conklin, and the Winston Science Fiction series when I was about 8, and I've never looked back.
