Over mijn bibliotheek
I have been collecting books since childhood but have kept only about 1,000. Lots of the classics, most of which I have actually read and lots of detective fiction. My favourite detective/thriller authors are Ian Rankin, Carl Hiaasen, Minette Walters and Janet Evanovich. I love Austen and my most re-read book is "The wind in the willows". I haven't been able to get into Christina Stead or Patrick White despite having inherited a collection of Stead from my late mother-in-law. I have tried.
Over mij
I live in Adelaide, South Australia in one of the beachside suburbs. I am a retired librarian formerly working in a government department. My most exciting book related moment was having a beer in the Oxford Bar in Edinburgh and Ian Rankin walked in!
