Lignin, (what breaks down and creates acid in wood-pulp paper) is related to vanilla. I guess that's why they use wood-alcohol to make artificial vanilla. Book perfume makes sense.

:'( Karl has gone to the great design house in the sky. I guess it's time to move him to the Legacy Libraries group. His personal book collection was massive. It will be interesting to see what happens to the books. I have one garment that he designed and found his work to be more wearable than most high end designers. Not a clothes horse here, but always on the lookout for a clearance sale.
