Harry Patterson (1)

I have been trying to combine the author page for Harry Patterson (1) with Jack Higgins (1) as they are both the same person. Higgins has written over 60 books and the 3 which are included on the Harry Patterson page (The Valhalla Exchange, To Catch a King and Dillinger) are all part of the Jack Higgins Collection sold by current bookshops. Some early editions did have Harry Patterson as the author but that is the same with many of the other 57 books currently catalogued under the Jack Higgins (1) author page. If there was a talk page to describe what I have been trying to do I would have done it there rather than post a thread here. I am looking for some support in merging the two pages.

The problem is that you can't combine split authors. And since there are other authors named "Jack Higgins" and "Harry Patterson", you should not combine the main author pages, either. The works can be aliased, but the authors cannot and should not be combined.
