I've read some of her NY Times columns, and was wondering whether I should buy one of her cookbooks.

I have her Supper Club Chez Martha Rose which I've enjoyed, more for the writing than the recipes. I live in an area where it's difficult to get ingredients. Great pictures in it too.

I have her book on The Very Best of Recipes for Health. I have made some of the salads-they are excellent.

I also have her Supper Chez Martha Rose and have enjoyed her many stories within. I went and bought 2 more lately because my interest have turned more towards eating more meals with just vegetables. Vegetarian is a big word and I would really like to try and be more healthy. I am looking forward to her books. You should too.

I have between 5 and 10 of Martha's cookbooks. Can't give you titles right now (I'm moving my cookbook collection and everything is in stacks) except Mediterranean Light, and Everyday Cooking with Dean Ornish, MD (Martha created many of the recipes for Dr. Ornish). Her books are a joy to use - the recipes are tasty as well as healthful - and she brings different localities to life with her vivid descriptions of her food discoveries during her global travels. I guess that's why the NYTimes picked Martha to do its food writing.
