Thanks for setting this up, Micky. I haven't read Persuasion, but it's one of my favorite films...

I already had The Annotated Persuasion and had seen Persuasion: an annotated edition in the bookstore. After a brief discussion with JNWelch, I believe, who admired the former, I decided I'd go ahead and order the Norton Critical Edition (for which, apparently, there is no separate touchstone). It has been through the post office in New Jersey a couple of times, but I may have it in a few days.

Yes, that was me, Robert. Maybe the N.J. postal employees needed more time to finish it?

I have read Persuasion before, although it has been a while, but I picked up The Annotated Persuasion at the Borders closing sales and am looking forward to reading it!

I've just (finally) finished reading Persuasion (which I remember as possibly my favourite Austen) as an e-book, abut reading through the posts, I've suddenly realised that I bought The Annotated Persuasion early last year, and was saving it for this read. Oh, well; I shall savour it as a pleasure still to look forward to.

I bought it to match The Annotated Pride and Prejudice; are there any more in the series, does anyone know? (Feeling too lazy to look it up myself).

The Annotated Sense and Sensibility is available. The Annotated Emma will be available from Barnes and Noble on March 20. I don't see any others. For annotated works I have been generally happy with the Norton Critical Editions.
