Biggles! Yes please! Don't much care about the condition. Biggles is _impossible_ to find in the US, and getting rarer (and/or more expensive) in the Commonwealth.

Requested.

I get any cheap Biggles books I can find for BookMooch. :)

Are there any fantasy fans out there who like to mooch complete series of books like I do?

I have a virtually complete series of Terry Goodkind's Sword Of Truth series in paperback if anyone is interested in mooching the whole lot at once. The only one missing is his latest, The Omen Machine, so basically it's the first 12 books which are as follows:

Debt of Bones
Faith of the Fallen
Wizard's First Rule
Soul of the Fire*
Stone of Tears
Naked Empire
Temple of the Winds
Chainfire
Blood of the Fold
Confessor
Phantom
The Pillars of Creation

All are in average used paperback condition. I got them all through either swaps or the local used book store so they've been through several readers already. I do have a cat (although he doesn't read the books often) and no one here smokes although they may have been through a smoker's hands in the past.

*Soul of the Fire has wavy pages so consider it a freebie.

I'd like to save on shipping costs by sending the whole lot to one person if possible, so any request like that will get priority. Mooch them all for 9 credits. US only.

Let me know if you are interested in taking the lot off my hands and I'll reserve them for you at Bookmooch!

Had someone been hunting for the Anne Rice book, Violin? I can't find any record in the Book Search threads, but a dim bell is ringing in my memory.

I came across an advance uncorrected proof of The Flower Boy by Karen Roberts if anyone is interested.

I also have ARCs of Soulbound by Heather Brewer and Girl Meets Boy: Because There Are Two Sides to Every Story, a YA anthology.

Instant Dystopian book collection!

I am clearing out some of my shelves, and posting on bookmooch after a hiatus! (Aside from saving specific books for a few friends of course ;)).

I have a set of dystopian books I hope someone is interested in.. I am most interested in sending this off as a near group, I can certainly understand not wanting to mooch a book you already have etc. So if this set sounds good to you (with one or two exceptions?) let me know. I have some other non-dystopian but popular books I may offer to fill out the box if it is not quite full.

These are all softcover ranging from good to looks like never read condition:

DuPrua: First three books in the Prophet of Yonwood series
(Prophet of Yonwood, People of the Sparks, City of Ember)

Pride & Prejudice & Zombies
Sense & Sensibility and Sea Monsters

Jose Sarmago:Blindness

Tomorrow when the War Began (John Marsden, Good used condition)
Flip this Zombie (Jesse Petersen)

White Noise (Don Delillo)
World War Z (Max Brooks)

Edit: I am willing to send worldwide!

We currently are happily owned by by three adorable eight-year-old rescue cats named Ruby, Leila and Lollipop - affectionately known as Ruby and the Twins.

I usually do my errands every Thursday - a weekly trip to the post office is usually a given for us. For the forseeable future, I'm afraid we can only accept requests going to and from the United States.

There is no limit to the number of books a person can mooch off me, If you see something that you would be interested in - be it one book or twenty - please feel to request it and we will do our utmost to oblige you. My daughter will try to reciprocate and save you as much postage as she can, however she currently tries to limit herself to three books from any one account and is willing to "spend" however many points her account will allow.

We are Irish tea-totallers who have never smoked and get our huge "stash" primarily from our local library's book sale. but we are currently trying to whittle it down slowly but surely! :) Happy reading and swapping everyone! :)

I'm only posting the books that I posted so far this month - June of 2012. My daughter keeps an eye on our bookshelf and is usually checking her email very frequently so please expect a quick and courteous response. She and I are both book bloggers known as Rosefire and Emeraldfire online. This is by far not our complete inventory, just June's additions:

Devil's Gate - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read.

Lullaby and Good Night - Received from Bookmooch for free on April 26, 2012. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and already has a secured plastic dust jacket on it.

Still Waters - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for one dollar. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and does already have a usable paper dust jacket that comes with it.

Demon Summer - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read.

A Song For the Asking - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for one dollar. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and does already have a usable paper dust jacket that comes with it.

Family Album - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read.

Full Circle - This is a book that was donated by someone for my local library's book sale. I bought it from my local library's book sale for one dollar. It was readable for me, however the spine is cracked and the book falls open to a middle page. I believe that a couple of sheafs of pages (perhaps about ten pages in each sheaf) are actually loose but not actually lost. (I tucked both sheafs back into place when I discovered them) I haven't taped them back into the book, but I will should someone ever want the book. Again, it was readable for me. The book does have a serviceable paper dust jacket which comes with it as well.

The Servants of Twilight - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read.

The Final Hour - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read.

MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers - This book was one of my daughter's college course books, that she's had for years stowed away downstairs. It is almost like new but still very useable.

While my Pretty One Sleeps - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read.

The Letters - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for one dollar. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and does already have a usable paper dust jacket that comes with it.

The Hampton Sisters - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for one dollar. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and does already have a usable paper dust jacket that comes with it.

Paige by Paige: A Year of Trading Spaces - Received from another swapping site for free on February 28, 2009. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being slightly well read.

We are currently on Bookmooch as firerose1 and are on Paperback Swap as emeraldfire and we add books to both sites frequently. Come visit us!

The warden
Cannery row mooched!
Uncle Fred in the springtime mooched!

>12 Bcteagirl:

Should not Jane Austen be listed as second-author, or not at all, for 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' and 'Sense and Sensibilities and Sea Monsters?'

>16 JimThomson:

I'm sure it's debatable, but the published books list the order Austen-first on their title pages (and covers). I suspect the work pages were intended to mirror that.

Anyone up for bartering BM points for my DVDs? I could use space and points. I'm lydiathinks on BM.

I figured 1 point = 1 DVD (UK) 2 points = 1 DVD (Europe) 3 points = 1 DVD (rest of world). May be able to do deals for multiples. All in decent nick, and Region 2 unless I say otherwise.

Movies:
28 Days
Almost Famous
Black Book - region 0
Center Stage
Ella Enchanted
Garcon Stupide
Madeline
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
The Queen
A Series of Unfortunate Events

TV:
Friends series 3 boxset
Gavin & Stacey series 1+2 boxset
Gavin & Stacey series 3
The Story of Tracy Beaker series 3

Edited to remove the ones people have asked for.
