So I'm puttering around, cleaning up my list of yahoogroups, when I stumble across this one:

Going back to look, it appears we had a group back in 06/07 time frame for everyone actually participating in NaNo from LT.
Wasn't sure if we wanted to discuss keeping it/using it, or just shut it down.
I'm not administrator, so we'd need to discuss that part too. :>

I just found and joined this group, but it appears the Yahoo group hasn't been used in quite some time. Do we know what was done via Yahoo that can't be done here (share files, etc)?

Maybe the Yahoo group predates "Talk" here on LT? I think there was a while, back when the site had just started, that Talk and Groups didn't exist. I don't know if there's any reason to keep the Yahoo group going if it's no longer active.

I get overwhelmed with too many groups to follow and tend to stick with just one or two (NaNo is an add-on in October-December, with my mainstays being LT and FB plus a little Twitter on the side where I'm @novelst for #Iamwriting tweets, in case anyone's interested ;) I'd just as soon stick to LT, NaNo & Twitter, to tell the truth.
