So say we all?

The full title is Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury

I've just requested it from the campus library. It should be here tomorrow, so I'm in.

ok. I re-read it not long ago and finally 'got' how deliciously insidious and evil it is. The first time I didn't get it, but loved the feeling of it...the writing. The second time I thought, well that was kinda creepy, but the third time...that's what did it.

Sounds like a winner. I have a copy at home that I've not gotten to yet, so I'm in.

'Scuse me, but I've not heard of this, and when I tried to look it up, there were a bunch of different authors? Can you give me a description, or the author, please?

Never mind, I haven't read much of Bradbury, I only recently became enamored of him by listening to an interview of him, so I would love to read this, but I will have to find it.

Just in case anyone else is confused, the full title is Something Wicked This Way Comes.

I'll try to find it

One of the greatest works of fantasy (and poetic) literature, and one of the greatest influences on me personally, both as a reader and a writer. I'm in (if that's ok).

Matt

No Matt, I'm sorry, but you are the only one we won't allow for this reading. ;)

Green Dragon group reads are open to all at any time. Clamairy even keeps a list of past reads so that members can add to those threads when they get around to reading the book. Some have been joined by the authors, so that's fun, too. We love lots of folk reading and chatting about the book, so, welcome!

This would be a reread for me, but I wasn't sure I'd join in because I didn't like the book when I read it the first time. But maybe my experience will be like Bookmarque's (post #3) and I'll 'get it' with a reread. I'm hemming and hawing over it.

Thanks, MrsLee! It's time for a reread.

Whenever is fine with me. Like I said, every new reading brings something I never noticed/perceived before.

I think everyone should just start reading and comment in either the NON Spoiler thread or SPOILER thread, as they choose :D

I have to wait for mine to arrive, but will join in when I get it. After reading what it's about, I'm not as excited as I was, but in honor of Mr. Bradbury I will give it a try. *what have you got me into this time, JPB?*

Ok, I'm in, too. Even though I was trying to Read Ten Before Buying One! I did buy a used copy of Something Wicked This Way Comes. Looking forward to doing this!
