I vote for Something Wicked.. As our next read

The full title is Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury

I've just requested it from the campus library. It should be here tomorrow, so I'm in.

ok. I re-read it not long ago and finally 'got' how deliciously insidious and evil it is. The first time I didn't get it, but loved the feeling of it...the writing. The second time I thought, well that was kinda creepy, but the third time...that's what did it.

I'm in.

'Scuse me, but I've not heard of this, and when I tried to look it up, there were a bunch of different authors? Can you give me a description, or the author, please?

Never mind, I haven't read much of Bradbury, I only recently became enamored of him by listening to an interview of him, so I would love to read this, but I will have to find it.

One of the greatest works of fantasy (and poetic) literature, and one of the greatest influences on me personally, both as a reader and a writer. I'm in (if that's ok).

This would be a reread for me, but I wasn't sure I'd join in because I didn't like the book when I read it the first time. But maybe my experience will be like Bookmarque's (post #3) and I'll 'get it' with a reread. I'm hemming and hawing over it.

picked up a copy at the library, so I'm good to go.

Whenever is fine with me. Like I said, every new reading brings something I never noticed/perceived before.

I have to wait for mine to arrive, but will join in when I get it. After reading what it's about, I'm not as excited as I was, but in honor of Mr. Bradbury I will give it a try. *what have you got me into this time, JPB?*
