What to Name my book?

I am writing a book about a girl who can control plants, and talk to them. She has just moved, and she meets a guy who can control water.
What are some Ideas for what I should call it?

Unnatural Powers?

The Incredibly Successful Gardeners?

Psychic Lawn Care?

Elemental synthesis, along those lines.

Hard to do without knowing the full focus of the book though. Talking to plants is pretty common, even part of many a scientific study these days, controlling them is something else. But is that truly the emphasis, or does that rest with the characters and the events simply offset their own evolution.

The two of them find out they are from another planet, and find out about there past. There is another who can control time, who is like the evil one. She tries to turn them evil also.

In that case, how about:

Guaranteed Green Lawn and Invasive Species Control?

I'd recommend finishing the draft before you decide. Keep in mind as well (if submitting to a publisher, agent, etc.), all you need do is choose something non-offensive and suitable to your genre. Proposed titles often change in consultation, so it's best not to get too attached whatever you select.

That said, I'd have a hard time suggesting anything based on only what you've said. I'd prefer a title that speaks to the larger world in which this story takes place; i.e. are there several other people with powers as well, are they all related to controlling natural elements, etc.? The title could be a nickname for what muggles like us would call these people, or it could speak to something symbolic that's important to them.

I'd only go for something cute, ironic or a pun if that suits the tone and writer's voice of your work. If you've written in a more serious voice, probably steer clear of that route.

That's an excellent point. If it's a serious book, give it a serious title. If it's lighthearted, then a lighthearted title will do.

The word "transpiration" comes to mind though.
