Fool Moon (potential for spoilers)

This is a thread for discussion of the book Fool Moon.

I can no longer remember which book is which. So I thought it might be helpful to look at each of these books and make a few notes on the appropriate thread.

Fool Moon opens with a minor practitioner, Kim Delaney at Macs with Harry. She tries to get information from him, but he is reluctant to give it because of the danger involved.

This book is the one with the werewolves and loup-garou, Harley MacFinn and his fiance, Tera West (later to vanish off into the north woods to live as a wolf). Also the federal agent Denton, who is having territory squabbles with Murphy. And the werewolf belts.

Good thinking MaggieO. I know exactly what you mean about the books blending together.

Fool Moon also happens to be the first book in the series if I remember correctly.

Storm Front is the first book. Fool Moon is the second.

Just finished Fool Moon and am madly in love (lust?) with Harry. As I said on another thread, even if Harry wasn't a powerful wizard, he'd be lovable. With his powers, he's irresistable! Anyway, while I liked Fool Moon a lot, I still like Storm Front (the only other of the series I've read) better. I plan to start the third book today, and if I have time while out doing errands am going to buy the next two in the series so I won't run out as I am definitely hooked!

Storeetllr - I knew you'd be hooked! I envy your being able to read them all for the first time. I'll have to settle for rereading them, I guess :)

There is nothing like reading a good series for the first time. In a way its nice that the rest of us get to sort of relive all that through you storeetllr.

Harry has got to be one of the best characters ever written.

Just wait until you get to some of the later books in the series...

I'm trying to string the books out so I don't gobble all of them down at once, but the third one is calling me, calling me. As soon as I finish the last one in the series about anther wizard named Harry (HP7), I'm going to start Grave Peril. :)

You won't regeret it. The next book will be out in April 2008 (if you are in the US that is)...so you'll want to ready for it when it comes. =)

Anyone know what happens to the warning Harry gets in this - that there is a major guy trying to kill him: Who taught the Storm guy, gave the belts to the FBI etc?

I've read the rest of the series and can't remember if it every gets mentioed again - one of the thigns I really like about the Harry series is there is a lot of interconectivity. I hope this wasn't just dropped.

There is mention here and there of an even bigger baddie than the ones that he's been facing in each current book. But nothing really concrete that I can recall.

I thought it was implied in White Night I think that was it, no wait that was the guy right at the start who got killed wasn't it? so no I dont think JB has said out right who the bad guy is but I get the impression it is more an organisation behind this stuff then a single person as such.

But that was just my interpretation.

Perhaps now with Harry's enemies piling up by the truck load it is a moot point? :)

It does of course re-appear in the end of Proven Guilty ... I love the consistent back story in all of these.
