Do you find you are much more relaxed to talk over a cup of tea?
80% of office workers claim they find out more about what's going on at work over a cup of tea, than in any other way.

I'll bet that's true; but I wouldn't be able to testify. My tea cup is an extension of my hand.

How many cups do you drink a day? Although I have a mug, but do sometimes enjoy doing my 'highbrow' act and use a cup and saucer. Something rather nice about doing that .. :)

I brew two or three pots a day. And yes, I meant mug. My grands and I do the high tea ceremony with a fabulously complete set of dishes that can serve 12. The cups and saucers are demi-tasse sized, perfect for small hands.

How lovely! I see you are starting them off right!

#4- please re-educate me. I was led to believe that "grands" referred to grandparents, but also means grandchildren?
I use a glass mug for a cuppa, but to really enjoy/relax then the cup must match the pot.

2wonderY means grandchildren I think. As the cups ans saucers are perfect for their small hands. I am thinking of buying myself a new mug. But it has to be the 'right one'. I wonder how many others are select choosing their their cups or mugs? I also have a love bone china cup and sauce and sometimes - just sometimes, enjoy my tea in the old fashioned, classic way ..!

Cup and saucer have to go with the pot maybe not match but at least look good together. I am very picky about my tea, coffee and cocoa mugs, and yes I do have different ones for each drink.
