...was cute in his day. Also alive.

I simply had to check what colour they may be in water. Hmmmm. Less showy, this one.
12LolaWalser
Ooh, blue cat. My parents used to have one. They know they are chic.
I can't believe how tiny is that baby bear! Those round, round ears... most. precious. thing. ever.
Have a fish having a worm.

People better hold on to the calendars with polar bears, because that's all where they'll exist in near future.
14LolaWalser
Taste like peanuts or gummi bears?

OK, having posted a 'rather stupid post above' I thought I might mention a remberance I liked.
About frogs of course. Little green frogs. Cuties of course.
My mate used to travel to Queensland every year.
One year he came back with a few guests, half a dozen tiny 'bright' green frogs. About 2 cm. in size.
Well, on Christmas Day, I noticed some of these frogs clinging on the kitchen window.
They lived under the 'corregated water thingy' for many, many years...
I LUV little frogs :-)
Guido.
ETA. After some consideration I have to add I also like BIG Frogs as well .
OK, and also the intermediate sized Frogs as well!

So if I hit the second, it is a REEEEE ? the third one a MIIIIIII ?

Say what you want, cats are superior beings
26RickHarsch
Why the extreme cat to monkey ratio?
27RickHarsch
And those frogs--perfect size for our local snakes.
29RickHarsch
If that were subjective I would take you to task.
30anna_in_pdx
Subjunctive?
31RickHarsch
Conjunctive subjunctive?

I don't know if this is the correct thread, but this is for people who think cats are gneiss:

And monkeys? they like to toss feces at dogs.
37RickHarsch
And no picture.
39RickHarsch
Guido, I've given up that process. An 'easier' way was described, but I failed the test. Nice ducks, but why post two fake ones?
44anna_in_pdx
I love photobombs.
45AnnaClaire
How about a gifbombing?
47RickHarsch
There now, that's the photo that makes me happy. Finally.

That one's like the beginning of a "makeover" show. "What can we do here, gang? C'mon, I need a vision!"
Bunny sez, bottoms up!

I'm not saying I understand everything I post.

Sandydog, when I did that, back in the first couple of years of the seventies, I gave the deer a biscuit. The deer I remember from Nara, however, were more slender than this one.

Monkeys! Nara deer! Kabutomushi and a couple of ii kos! This thread is taking a sharply relevant-to-my-interests turn. Here is a thing:

64-5: yeeHAH!
Last night on the autostrada I was thinking I know I'm driving up to 100mph, but we're on our way to the all-star game (Italian Baseball League), and then I'm thinking so little traffic what can go wrong--tire? got a firm grip...DEER!, yes and about three minutes later a little male, horned but teenage, was loping along the shoulder against traffic. I slowed down.

>84 guido47:
When I looked at the photo in 79 I thought to myself, "that has to be fake," so I looked it up on google image search. That photo may be fake, I'm not sure, but there was an another photo which originated the name poodle moth and apparently became something of an internet meme:
This photo does appear to be genuine and of an unidentified species of moth. The name "poodle moth" was coined by it's photographer Arthur Ankur. See his flikr account linked on his name for many other excellent nature photos, especially of insects. The moth I posted in 82 is another from his trip to Venezuela. I do not know if it is an identified species.
Ah the internet, where anything can lead to an hour of wandering research.

I'm afraid I keep coming back for more. Just to remind myself, of course, why I don't want to look.
Actually, the only ones that bother me are the ones that are more than just staged. They look like the poor little guys are being thrown into the shot, literally tossed in front of the camera just to catch the effect: #45 and #183.
