I tried using the tagmash search feature to find "history, japan", and it failed (that is, I waited a few minutes, then gave up), but when I went to the "japan" tag page and clicked on the tagmash "japan, history" I got there instantly.

I did one with Isaac Newton and fiction. It gave 14 results with two of the results being non-fiction. Not bad results because it pulled up the fiction I was aware of that features Isaac. I'm not sure if there's more Isaac fiction out there that's not tagged or not.

Well, the tag search doesn't actually let you search for the intersection of multiple tags. In any case, tagmash creates a page, not just a list of search results, and once that page is created other related tag(mash) pages will link to it.

This is so cool, I tried a few tagmashes and found them helpful for turning up books I'd not heard of before. Right now I still can't find the Tagmash feature on the Search page and the only way I can find the Tagmash page is by the Thingology blog, which I clicked to using the link in #6 above.

My hypothesis:
Tagmashes only appear once someone has tried searching for them. So, until someone searches for a tagmash including the florida tag, no tagmashes including florida will show up on the florida page. The reason tagmashes without the floridatag show up there is that there are *books* included in these tagmashes that are tagged florida.
