Hello, I'm new here, not sure I'm doing this correctly.

I read the book about 10 years ago, even then it was not a new release.
It was a Historical romance, the heroine had been capture after defending her land during seige.
she used to have brother but he was sickly and died young, her father marry another, the stepmother become the cause of the seige.
The king(?) arrange for her marrige to the warrior that lead the seige.
He was a big man, so was she, she was called 'giantess of 'name of her land'.
Run away before the wedding took place, disguised as a boy, cutting her hair, kill a man before being found by her husband to be.
she was married by proxy since she keep saying no.
In her marrige bed, tried to kill her husband but they come to agreement that their people is more important, have to prepare the hall(?) for winter.
they eventually fall in love, defeat their enemy (neighbor) together.
I think in the final chapter there are scene where their bed collapse/distroyed because it was too small for them.

I think you did great, and I love your description. I don't know what your book is, but I hope someone else does -- I want to read it too.
