Some of you might have noted articles about Redstone Studio in such publications as The Atlantic Cities and elsewhere. Essentially, they produce maps today evoking the style of 500, more or less, years ago. If you like historic maps, and I do, take a look. They also will teach you to make your own maps in a similar style.
The maps that they paint start at $5,000 to $10,000, so they're not inexpensive. They do have an Archival Print series (at this point only 5 choices) which is relatively more affordable at $200 to $500.
