15Crazymamie
We sent the first five books in the China Bayles series, and I have the next seven in the series ready to go out this week. So Thyme of Death through An Unthymely Death and Other Garden Mysteries.

Morphy, I read on another thread that RD wants us to send used if we can - I think it is to keep our expenses down.

21laytonwoman3rd
I sent him three mysteries by Frances and Richard Lockridge, from my box of duplicates. I did not make note of the titles, but they were all in the Inspector Heimrich series (their Norths feature C.A.T.S., which I knew would not please RD). As these are not currently in print, I doubt that anyone else would be choosing them.
22luvamystery65
>21 laytonwoman3rd: Thanks. I'm not going to note them in the sent list since they are out of print. I wish I was there when he receives them. I'd love to see the look on his face. ;-)
23Copperskye
I didn't see these listed as sent, so this week I'll send books 9-10 in the Montalbano series, Paper Moon and August Heat.
Several weeks ago I sent Last Train to Paradise.

25DorsVenabili
I'm going to send Us Conductors by Sean Michaels, which sounds interesting (thanks to Valerie for the review) and I believe fits the Canadian requirement.
26Chatterbox
I can send some of the Miss Silver books:
The Catherine Wheel
Latter End
The Traveller Returns
Grey Mask
There probably will be more once I identify where the rest of them are located. (They are in a back row on my shelves.)
I also have three of the early Deborah Crombie mysteries; does anyone know whether he wants or has read these?
All Shall be Well
Leave the Grave Green
A Share in Death
I also have set aside one of the Anne Zouroudi mysteries, The Lady of Sorrows, and Flower Net by Lisa See, Mesmerized by Gayle Lynds and Dance for the Dead by Thomas Perry.
All are used paperbacks.
I don't have a snail mail address for him, however; only for his storage unit. If someone would like to PM that to me, I can put them in the mail.

28Chatterbox
Thanks, Megan. I checked his LT library, and not seeing that he has read the Crombie mysteries, will add those as well. I think that will make up three packages to go out.
29alcottacre
I found 4 books for Richard in Joplin, with some help from Terri. All of the books are on his LT wish list except for one, which I just thought sounded like a Richard book. He will be getting Shake the Devil Off, Autobiography of a Face, The Myrtles Plantation, and The Puttermesser Papers from me - as soon as I get back home, that is.
30Cobscook
I have three books from Rdear's WL that I am sending him. They are A Brother's Price by Wen Spencer, The Food of a Younger Land by Mark Kurlansky, and So Many Books, So Little Time by Sara Nelson.
31luvamystery65
I've updated through post >28 Chatterbox: and I'll update >29 alcottacre: & >30 Cobscook: this evening. I have not called Richard but hope to call him soon and see what he has received and let him know what we have sent him.

Thank you so much for keeping up with this. It is easy to have a little task like this to slip off the to do list, and yet we all know how much Richard will love receiving books he's not yet read. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
33msf59
I could not find any of those series books, from the top, at my favorite local used bookstore but I did find these and I am sending them out today:
The Bone People
The Good German
Enigma
I had one more but it wouldn't fit, so I will save it for the next round.

I'll be sending out Not quite what I was planning: six-word memoirs today.
35Berly
I am evil! I am sending him two books from the Dickens Junction Mystery series. Yes, that's right--Dickens!! Mwah ha ha! On the good side, the first is The Christmas Carol Murders, so it is timely. It also has a great gay couple, one of whom cooks divinely. And it is set in Oregon, where I am from. ; )
So, that one and The Edwin Drood Murders.

36jolerie
Will be sending out my package this week...finally! Fingers crossed it gets to Rdear in time. :)

Updated through post #36. I tried Richard today but both times the line was busy. I'll keep trying.
ETA: I just got off the phone with Richard. I'm going to send him the list from post #2 so he can cross reference and see if anything is missing.

>35 Berly: *gasp* Dickens? Yikes ;) That should get RD running about in no time!
39EBT1002
I'm a little late to this party but if there is something missing, something Richard wants that he does not yet have, I will be happy to pack 'em up and send his way. I'll check back here tomorrow to see how it appears to be going.
Thanks to Roberta and Kath and others who are keeping tabs.

If I'm reading this correctly, I can go purchase books 11-13 of the Andrea Camilleri (Inspector Montalbano) series and send them to RD, right?
If I get an affirmative, I'll go on line and order these:
Book 11 The Wings of the Sphinx by Andrea Camilleri
Book 12 The Track of Sand by Andrea Camilleri
Book 13 The Potter's Field by Andrea Camilleri
Will someone please PM me the address? Thanks!

45EBT1002
Okay, how about this: I'll confirm later but let's assume that I'm going to send him Montalbanos #12, #13, and oh what the hell, #14, #15, and #16 -- assuming Amazon has them in stock. SO - no one else send him any Montalbano mysteries until and unless I come back here and say I was unable to get one of them. :-)
46EBT1002
Okay, I'm confirming. I sent the remaining five Montalbano novels to Richard. The Track of Sand, which is #12, is expected to get there the day after the others. If someone will tell him that the next one in the series is on its way but he'll have to wait a day...
It's Christmas, we're all having to wait to open that package, right? :-)

Shall I continue this thread in 2015?
If yes, should I call it Wish List instead of book list? RD does need some small personal items from time to time.

I've got this thread starred, so I can still follow it here. Would it get lost amid the frenzy of the start of the year in the 2015 group? That would be my only concern, but I'll follow it wherever it is.
If you do re-create it, Wish List would be apt.

I decided to wait until February Kath that way it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I had sent him some foot powder and shower wash last month.
I'll post the link here when I start the thread.
I do hope he has placement by then but I'll still start the thread because goodness knows what expenses he will have.
