Bought this one new, making it a fairly expensive month: Marching Home Union Veterans and Their Unending Civil War by Brian Matthew Jordan. The reviews I've seen are pretty good, and the 49-page bibliography has 31 pages of primary sources.

Multiple ARCs today:

* Rain: A Natural and Cultural History by Cynthia Barnett
* _Beyond Willpower: From Stress to Success in 40 Days_ by Alexander Lloyd
* _Effortless Healing: 9 Simple Ways to Sidestep Illness, Shed Excess Weight, & Help Your Body Fix Itself_ by Dr. Joseph Mercola
* meQuilibrium: 14 Days to Cooler, Calmer, and Happier by Jan Bruce, Andrew Shatte, and Adam Perlman

Many ARCs actually go unclaimed at work. These were likely to end up recycled, so I allowed myself to be greedy.

So the Lloyd ARC on willpower may go back for another bookseller -- it looks like there's a lot of religion in it.

Picked up two historical romance ARCs, both due to be published in March:
* Married To a Perfect Stranger by Jane Ashford
* _Wicked My Love_ by Susanna Ives

A book I've been waiting for finally arrived in the bookstore, so I bought it: In These Times: Living in Britain Through Napoleon's Wars, 1793-1815 by Jenny Uglow.

Also, an ARC: The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley {multiple time period story, I believe, due to be published May 2015).

Visited 2 used bookstores and GoodWill on Friday and brought home 35 books, including many baby board books to share and giveaway. Spent about $40. Many of the books like new. What a deal!
