As I mentioned, I'm not keeping track of my reading. I'm reading at about the same pace as before. I basically read nothing in December, as it was a happy, busy, but challenging month for me. Still, I typically read less in December. I have read a lot of urban fantasy and some odds and ends. I am also reading David Rosenfelt, and not to alarm anyone, but I'm not reading them in order. These days most of my books have been coming from the library e-book collection. With the Andy Carpenter books, I just read them willy nilly as I find them. It works fine.

So I got an ER book today Who Wrote "The Night Before Christmas?" kinda late. I don't really care who wrote it, but was hoping this would come around Christmas and get me in a better holiday mood.
At least it's a thin book. I really wanted the other book I requested, but no. So, there you have it.

It'll be 3 years this Saturday since Sig came into our lives. He's starting to be willing to sit on my lap for a few minutes, especially in the rocking chair. But he's definitely not a lap cat. He's an adventurous one, as you can see.

So, I am way behind putting my books into my library. I'm not sure I'll ever really catch up. And in other news, I can't find a book. Book slump in progress.. booo!

I added a new pic of Drew to my library. I lost my photobucket account, because I am not paying 400$ to host some pictures. I don't know how else to put them here.. any suggestions?

Anyway, my sweet girl is 11 months today.

Today we were channel surfing and came upon a program called Meow Manor on some channel I never heard of, UP TV. Three kittens, litter mates, in a house scaled to kitten size, and all their antics. Sig was fascinated -- he never paid attention to TV before, even when we watched the Kitten Bowl. He jumped up on the TV stand and tried to interact with the kittens. Maybe it's time to get him a friend?

I just came back from Drew's birthday party...it was nice. They have good friends. Downside, on of the 6 little ones invited was afraid of dogs. So Lola and my daughters dogs Sloan and Steve had to be shut in rooms. Lola has never been shut in anyway since she was rescued. She barked for 3 hours. . . unless someone was taking a turn being in with her. I finally took a few of the other kids into the room and we hung out petting her, and in one boys case lying on top of her proclaiming his love! lol. Nice young man.
