Unable to export books.

Every time I try, in any format, it starts to load but never goes past 1 (1 book) no matter how long I wait.

I see no other report about this.

I noticed that the TSV export suddenly had an empty line in the bottom but that was a five second fix to one of my scripts, so I didn't report it. But it made me look for other signs that ccatalfo was doing something to the export function :-)

Confirmed. I hope I don't need to emphasize the severity of this bug.

My export is missing some books - I have 3009 rows in the export, compared with 3027 books in my catalog. The missing titles are not the most recently added. I'm doing a comparison now to see if I can figure out any commonality, but it's a slow process to even find which ones are missing.

That's even more disturbing than the original bug!
I've just checked mine: "All collections" reports 1,868 books, the export reported "Processing done (1,868 records)" and there are indeed 1,868 lines in the file. So I can't help you track down the problem.

So there is something weird, but I think it is with my catalog, not my export.

My profile page said 3009; clicking through to my catalog gave 3027. I started doing a page-by-page (20 books per page) comparison of my catalog and my export, and found what appeared to be a missing book in the export (where the book at the top of the catalog page was at the bottom of the previous export page) - but instead, my catalog was unable to count to 20, and showed only 19 books on that page. As I was in the process of grabbing a permalink to show the issue, my catalog refreshed, and now I see only 3009 books in my catalog. My last month's export is on a different computer, so I can't compare.

Where did you see the 3027 listed on your catalog.

By all database reckonings you have 3009. (The data is stored in multiple tables, and they all agree.) So 3027 is some sort of double-counting of collections, or something. But I've never seen anything like that. So I don't know where to take this next.

I saw it in my catalog. Up at the top where it says, for instance, "1-20 of X", X was showing as 3027. It has since reconciled to 3009, so it appears to have been a temporary hiccup. It may have been momentarily counting deleted books, or something. (If you do want to try to track it down, all I can say is that somewhere between book ID 202925 and 215902 when ordered by Date Added (i.e. ordered by Book ID) it was either double-counting or counting a phantom, since that's where I saw the page of 19 books.)

Have you gone on a deleting spree recently?

Not recently and not a spree, but counting deleted books is one of the more obvious options.

Fixed for me but slow. I was able to export though. Thank you.

I'm seeing the same issue; running on Mac (10.15) with Chrome browser, or Firefox. I don't know what timezone the devs are in, but I'll be awake and near a computer for the next 12 hours if you need user tests.

Now not fixed. Back to 0 books exported while attempting to export. Please fix for real. Thank you.
