Finished Fevre Dream by George R. R. Martin. Still a good read.

Next into my reading mix is The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. by Neal Stephenson and Nicole Galland.

I read an article that mentioned Amazon will be making a serial tv show from Stephenson's Snow Crash. It's in my TBR pile but I don't know when I will get to it.

Anyone who has read it that thinks this will be worth watching?

Made it to Book 6 of Wheel of Time. So far so good. I was warned that the story would meander around a lot, so I adjusted my expectations and am enjoying the ride!

Back in the world of witches, magisters, & soul-eaters, in Wings of Wrath by Friedman. She knows how to do epic dark fantasy.

I love alternating genres! Having just read Death Comes for the Archbishop (because I was visiting the desert southwest) and then A Far Cry from Kensington (because I love Muriel Spark), a good fantasy makes a pleasant contrast.

I've been Cast in silence in Elantra, a disappointing experience. Now I've returned to Rathillien under a Seeker's mask which is far more enjoyable at the moment.

>25 seitherin: Had you read the previous Taltos novels?

>26 AnnieMod: Yep, I've read them. Been a fan since day one. I've also enjoyed Brust's non-Taltos books. I'm currently replacing the paper copies I no longer have with ebooks and doing a re-read as I acquire them. I've a couple more in my TBR pile.

>27 seitherin: OK, was just making sure. Not that they cannot work on their own but they are so much better when you have the background. I find Brust criminally underrated :)

Added A Glimmer of Hope by Steve McHugh into my reading rotation.

>28 AnnieMod: I agree with you about Brust being underrated, especially with regard to his non-Taltos books. The first book of his I read was To Reign in Hell and I was hooked. And then I discovered Jhereg.
