The book titled "Brechts 'Leben des Galilei'" edited by Werner Hecht (1981) is a compilation of materials about Brecht's play. Only a few pages are texts of scenes from a couple of early versions of the play. The book is linked in Common Knowledge to the work Life of Galileo, but I wouldn't consider this the same work. Is there an LT policy on this kind of thing?

The link on the Life of Galileo page does not claim the Hecht's Leben des Galilei is the 'same' work. It lists the Hecht as a 'supplement' to the play. This seems appropriate.

They were not linked in CK. They were combined. They are now separated from there, and combined into the correct work, and linked in a work to work relationship that should prevent them being recombined later.

I would recommend in future entering such books as being by the editor - who did put this book together - rather than entering them with the author of the book the materials are about. Once a single copy has been mistakenly combined, others with the same title author and ISBN are pulled in as well.

>2 Crypto-Willobie: Yes, that is the result of what I've been doing. I also separated out several editions of an anthology of this play with two others. There are still some oddities in there, but I've run out of steam.
