Hello,
I'm just getting started with LibraryThing and I've begun scanning my church library into the online catalog. Part of my job is to order multiple copies of books for Adult Education.
What's the best way to account for multiple copies of the same book in LibraryThing? Thanks for any help you can offer.
Donna

You can enter the number of copies in a book entry BUT
1) It will count as one book in your totals.
2) Circulation will also only see one book.
If either the count or the ability to use the circulation feature to lend out multiple copies, you will have to enter each copy separately. You will probably want to add something like (copy 5) to each title, and have that number marked on the book unless you are adding barcodes.
