Hey, everyone.

I just had to share my good fortune with you.

I look everywhere for books, including used book stores and Goodwill. The Goodwill on Penny Rd. in Greensboro (or maybe it's High Point in that area) currently has bins and bins of brand new books, straight from the publisher. Hardcovers are $1.25, softcovers, .75! I'm going out the door right now, but later I'll post some of the titles I've found.

Seriously, if you're near this area, go check it out--it's a great find.

Okay, guys, I stopped back in today and they are still putting new books out. Here is what I purchased today, for .75 each, all brand-new, in perfect condition (although some do have a remainder mark on the bottom):

Good Morning Midnight, Life and Death in the Wild by Chip Brown
Cowboy by Sara Davidson
After Lucy, A Novel by Daniel Jones
A Face at the Window by Dennis McFarland
A Matter of Character, Inside the White House of George W. Bush by Ronald Kessler
The Slate Diaries by Michael Kinsley

I only had ten minutes or so to spare; otherwise, I'd probably have come home with even more books. I'll try and remember to post some of the other new books I've found in this location in the past couple of weeks. They have multiple copies of each title.

I hope someone else can take advantage of this great opportunity to grab some new books for just pocket change!
