Are there any modern-day books that you believe will be labeled
"classics" in the decades to come?

If you look at the late 20th century and 21st century books added to the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die list, there are some candidates I think. I would certainly nominate Atonement by Ian McEwan and Possession by A. S. Byatt. The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt was just added in the latest update and I also think it will be talked about for some time.

I assume the Harry Potter Collection will stand the test of time.
I, however, listened to only one of the books in the collection.
