Hi All,
A couple of years ago we integrated out ILS in with our CMS and DAMS and let's just say it is not working out great. We are looking to extract our library records out of the system but don't want to go back to a large system with lots of bells and whistles that we don't need. We have about 25,000 items (so just outside of the TinyCat criteria) but we are a non-circulating special collections library. We don't need circulation and we track all our our acquisitions information in our CMS so we were considering just using LibraryThing as our main catalog. A major concern is that we have a lot of serials. Is anyone out there using LibraryThing as their only catalog?
Thanks!
